The esteemed Cincinnati Ballet is bringing Mercurial Landscapes to the Aronoff Center for the Arts this spring. In a night of four parts, the company will be performing not only Jodie Gates' Mercurial Landscape, but also Petit Mort and Sechs Tanze by Jiri Kylian, set to the compositions of Mozart, and an unnamed world premiere by Figney Dance Company's Rena Butler. Whilst Jodie Gates is well known as a principal ballet dancer in world-renowned companies, she has also choreographed over 70 pieces of contemporary and classical ballet. Mercurial Landscapes will be set to a recomposition of Vivaldi's Four Seasons by Grammy-nominated composer and musician, Max Richter.
