Since it was first published in 1837, Hans Christian Anderson's tale of the Little Mermaid's quest to escape the kingdom beneath the waves has captivated audiences around the world, in many forms. Join Cincinnati Ballet as they tell the story of a mermaid's dream to become human! Alongside Cincinnati Ballet's Second Company dancers, the production will also feature some of the best up and coming dancers from the Otto M. Budig Academy.
Expect an enchanting ballet experience that brings the loveable Little Mermaid, her fishy pals, the handsome human Prince and the scary Sea Witch to life with vibrance and delight! This joyful adaptation is choreographed by Pamela Robinson Harris and Peggy Dolkas and with music by Leo Delibes.
