Why see Cincinnati Ballet - Director's Cut?
Celebrating 20 years of Cincinnati Ballet!
Artistic Director Victoria Morgan welcomes you to a once-in-a-lifetime celebration, of 20 years of Cincinnati Ballet! Showcasing her favorite works performed by the company over two decades, this extensive mixed program features the Pas de Deux from Swan Lake, New York City Ballet's Capricious Maneuvers, Selections from Raymonda, a World Premiere by Tulsa Ballet's Ma Cong, James Cunningham's Prohibition Condition, Fusion (Excerpts) from San Francisco Ballet and a world premiere by Morgan, entitled Patriotic Pas.
Joining Cincinnati Ballet as Artistic Director in 1997, Morgan is notable for being one of only five female ballet directors in the States; one of her earliest works as a dresser is King Arthur's Camelot. This new premiere, Patriotic Pas, is paired up with Morton Gould's composition, American Salute and promises to be "a tough, little knock-your-socks-off classical piece, unlike anything else on the program!"
