A tale as old as time, or so you think. This spring will see the world premiere of Sleeping Beauty, The Untold Story as presented by the Cincinnati Ballet. A ballet for all, old and young is not to be missed. The magical tale is set to the music of infamous composer Tchaikovsky, and the new take on the story has been created by Artistic Director Jodie Gates, Second Company CB2 Director Suzette Boyer Webb, and Director of Education Carolyn Guido Clifford.
What's it about?
Sleeping Beauty, The Untold Story tells us of Princess Aurora, who is cursed to prick her finger and fall into a one-hundred-year slumber. This time, it is Aurora who has the power to break the spell and reawaken herself. The ballet is a story of empowerment and magic for all to enjoy.
