Why See The Lone Bellow?
Rising Alt Country Trio The Lone Bellow On Tour
The beginnings of Booklyn-based trio The Lone Bellow flowed from founding member Zach Williams pen as a response to personal tragedy following his wife's temporary paralysis after a horse-riding accident. When she thankfully made a full recovery, the couple moved to New York, where Williams turned his heartfelt songs into a full fledged band with the addition of Kanene Donehey Pipkin and Brian Elmquist. Following the critically acclaimed 2017 release of their third studio album Walk Into A Storm, the alt country outfit is hitting the road this Spring.
Blending soaring three-part harmonies with Southern gospel-tinged Americana, blue-eyed soul and acoustic folk, The Lone Bellow calls upon their upbringing in the South for an authentic yet polished sound, backed by the band's high calibre of musicianship. Aside from those harmonies, a vibrant collection of instruments from the mandolin to the banjo bring Williams' emotive lyrics to life as he sings passionately about love, longing, grief, hope and redemption.
